Mindful Messaging for the Grade 4's

The other day the grade 6's went to the grade 4 classrooms, to explain to them about messaging. They need to careful on IM because, they could give away personal information. Tone is how you say something, you could be angry, sad, happy, irritated and laughing. Tone is important because it expresses how you say something, so that people know how you are feeling. Facial expression is what expression on your face, that you are trying to show eg. laughing, smiling, crying, etc. when you message you should be careful what you say, because it could come out in the wrong way.

Today I was passing by a humongous bush on my way to the shops,  when I saw three men talking. They were all dressed differently, they looked like they were from different parts of the world. They looked serious. Why? I don't know, but I had to find out. I snuck over behind the bush and heard the one man say, "How are we supposed to destroy the whole entire world?" The Singing Inspecter

Today was the worst day of my life! Firstly I have so much homework and Mr Raymond, the singing inspector, came to our class. He had a huge, bushy mustache and he wore huge knickerbockers. He called Benny and Charles to sing first, they sang Pretty Polly. You do not even want to know how angry he looked. Then Jesse got called up, next he called Iris and I. I was so nervous I almost fainted. We started singing and I noticed that Iris wasn't singing and I freaked out. I still kept on singing.Thank goodness it was the end of the day. I will always remember this day.
