Choose Kind    Choose Kind   Choose Kind    These past few months in English, we have been reading a wonderful book called Wonder. The author of Wonder is  Raquel J. Palacio. It is such a great book. It has a great moral to the story. My favourite characters are Summer and August. What stood out the most for me, was that August was very brave to go to Middle School. This story has taught me that you shouldn't judge people by the way that they look. I think if I was in the book I would be Summer, because she is kind and she loves making new friends. This book was really interesting, and I loved how they wrote different chapters on different peoples perspectives. It even has a bonus chapter. I have loved reading Wonder, and I definitely recommend it. 

Our character is called Coo - Coo Cumber. We made a cucumber because Romy and I love cucumbers! I would change the legs of the cucumber, because it doesn't stand that well. I loved the filming and i had a lot of fun with the painting. My frustrations are that the cuumber does not stand that well. Otherwise, i have loved this project. We also made a superhero called Super Sponge, we made him out of a sponge. I have loved this project, and I can't wait to see what the finished project looks like.

Mindful Messaging for the Grade 4's The other day the grade 6's went to the grade 4 classrooms, to explain to them about messaging. They need to careful on IM because, they could give away personal information. Tone is how you say something, you could be angry, sad, happy, irritated and laughing. Tone is important because it expresses how you say something, so that people know how you are feeling. Facial expression is what expression on your face, that you are trying to show eg. laughing, smiling, crying, etc. when you message you should be careful what you say, because it could come out in the wrong way.

My dreams for 2017 are...  To go to Durban.  I would like to try to learn to surf.  My dream is to get another golden doodle for dog to play with.  I would like to go scuba-diving.   To touch a dolphin in an aquarium. To go on a cruise to somewhere oversees To climb a mountain in Cape Town To go to England to visit my family To get a new iPad To save an animal
